Moratorium for deep sea mining

As a moratorium on deep-sea mining will be considered at next week’s 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States in Antigua and Barbuda, heads of government from Trinidad and Tobago will participate in the conference, where one of the agenda items is a proposal that will affect the future of offshore drilling for oil and natural gas worldwide.
