T&T Business owners owe B.I.R. $15 billion in unpaid taxes.
Over 15 billion dollars is owed to the Board of Inland Revenue by several businesses. The owner of MovieTowne Derek Chin and the owner of the T&T Radio Network (TTRN) Anthony “Chinese Laundry” Chow Lin On are among those that owe the Board of Inland Revenue millions of dollars in tax. As a result, the state has garnished Lin On’s various radio stations, such as 96.1 W FM, 107.7 Music for Life, and Star 94.7.
