Steering committee formed to implement HIV and AIDS stigma index 2.0 in T&T.
Following the endorsement of the National AIDS Coordinating Committee, a steering committee has been established to oversee the implementation of the Stigma Index 2.0 in Trinidad and Tobago (T&T). The initiative, championed by the Trinidad and Tobago Community for Positive Women (TTCW+), held its inaugural meeting on May 14, 2024, marking the beginning of discussions by the appointed committee. The Stigma Index 2.0, an international survey tool, aims to investigate and gather data on factors contributing to stigma against Persons Living with HIV (PLHIV).
