ACP Hazel discusses plans to tackle crime in Tobago

Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – Trinidad and Tobago’s 2024 murder toll has reached 332, prompting the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) to significantly intensify its operations to address the country’s ongoing crime crisis.

The Ministry of National Security hosted a press conference on Monday, July 22nd [referring to July 22, 2024], where Minister of National Security Fitzgerald Hinds and Deputy Commissioner of Police Junior Benjamin shared the latest results of the TTPS’s recent anti-crime measures. Their update highlighted the strategies being employed to combat the high rate of serious crimes across the nation.
