Gulfstream barge successfully towed to Port of Spain.
On February 7th, 2024, the Gulfstream barge appeared in Tobago’s waters, causing a major oil spill. It took several months to clean up the spill, extract the oil from the vessel, and refloat it. It was eventually refloated on Monday. Today, the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries announced that the ship was successfully towed to Port of Spain.
