Frac Tanks are in Tobago and are making clean-up efforts easier
Frac tanks in Tobago are proving valuable in ongoing beach clean-up efforts following a fuel spill. Tiger Tanks Trinidad Limited’s frac tanks, as indicated by Tobago Emergency Management Agency Director Allan Stewart, are facilitating the removal and safe storage of the fuel spill residue from the water. Progress is positive, with final anchoring of oil booms around the Gulfstream wreck for containment and extraction. Volunteers from Tobago, Trinidad, and beyond, including Petrobras from Brazil, are praised for their support. The business sector’s contributions of cleaning supplies and PPE are acknowledged. Efforts are focused on areas near schools for students’ return, and affected shorelines are being addressed. Despite challenges, Stewart is optimistic about completion.
