Former Chief Secretary recognized

The Tobago Hindu society honours past chief secretary Orville London for his contributions to the Hindu community

Former Chief Secretary, Orville London, was recognized for his contributions to the Tobago Hindu Community during Diwali celebrations at the Lowlands Tobago. In 2014, the Hindu Society was given a plot of land opposite the Scarborough General Hospital, in Signal Hill,  for the construction of a Hindu temple, a process that had been ongoing since 2009. The SOD turning ceremony on the land was held in 2022 and construction of the temple is underway.
