THA criticized over contract award

Minority leader, Kelvon Morris, criticizes that for contract awarding process.

Scarborough, Tobago – Minority Leader of the Tobago House of Assembly (THA), Kelvon Morris, has accused the THA of awarding contracts unfairly. Speaking on Facebook Live, he criticized the practice of giving valuable contracts to companies from outside of Tobago that have no local ties.

Morris specifically questioned the choice of a company named CSSL. He pointed out that this company was given a $186 million project even though it allegedly failed to complete a $25 million road project in Lamby. His comments highlight growing concerns about how the THA is choosing contractors and spending money on the island.
