October 23, 2024 – The Ministry of Gender and Child Affairs, under the leadership of Minister Ayanna Webster-Roy, is expanding its mandate to include issues affecting men and boys. Addressing the common perception that the Ministry’s work is primarily for women and children, Minister Webster-Roy hosted a men’s forum in Tobago. The forum’s discussions and contributions are intended to help shape the mandate of a new unit dedicated specifically to men’s issues, ensuring a more inclusive approach to gender and social development in Trinidad and Tobago.
