Men’s forum
Ministry of Gender and Child affairs hosts men’s forum in Tobago aimed at producing better systems to support men.
There is a perception that the Ministry of Gender and Child Affairs primarily focuses on issues affecting women and children. However, the Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Gender and Child Affairs, Ayanna Webster-Roy, aims to change this by establishing a unit dedicated to men’s issues. Today, she hosted a men’s forum in Tobago, where it is hoped that the contributions made will help shape the new unit’s mandate.
