In a series of successful operations in Tobago, officers arrested several individuals and seized firearms and ammunition. At around 11:55 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22nd, two men were arrested in Milford Court car park after a routine search led to the discovery of a revolver hidden in a vehicle. The suspects, aged 34 and 27, were taken to Crown Point Police Station for further investigation. Later, at 2:37 p.m., an officer at ANR Robinson International Airport detected a 9mm round of ammunition during baggage screening. The individual responsible, a man from Sangre Grande without a Firearm User’s License, was arrested. Additionally, an anti-crime operation between 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. uncovered a pistol with two rounds of 9mm ammunition hidden behind concrete bricks. The firearm was found to contain two (2) rounds of 9mm ammunition in an extended magazine. Investigations are ongoing.
