Tobago Included In Major Festivities For The National Carnival
Scarborough, Tobago – February 5th, 2024 – In a promising shift for the island’s entertainment landscape, Soca entertainer Erphaan Alves recently made a significant move to include Tobago in his major Carnival season event, EDAY. This comes as Tobago is often perceived as being left out of the main Carnival festivities typically held in February.
Alves brought his popular EDAY carnival event to Tobago, hosting a dynamic show at Barcode last Saturday. This initiative underscores a growing trend among event promoters to expand their reach and ensure the sister isle is fully integrated into national celebrations.
Reporter Tanikah Cruickshank has highlights from Erphaan Alves’s performance, showcasing the excitement and energy of the EDAY event in Tobago. This inclusion marks a positive step towards a more comprehensive and inclusive national Carnival experience for both islands.
