Scarborough, Tobago – During the 35th plenary session of the Tobago Assembly Legislature on Thursday, Assemblyman Watson Duke, the area representative for Roxborough/Delaford, strongly criticized the current state of Tobago’s tourism sector.
Duke stated that he does not view Tobago’s recent ranking in Wanderlust magazine as noteworthy, pointing out a decline in positioning from 2022 to 2024. Furthermore, he highlighted that Barbados, which has never been featured in the magazine, is experiencing significant growth in its tourism sector, in stark contrast to Tobago’s perceived stagnation.
