Scarborough, Tobago – The availability of ice from the Tobago Agribusiness Development Company Limited (TADCO) is currently being affected by the ongoing dry season.
A press release from TADCO acknowledges the significant challenges posed by the current dry season and subsequent water supply scheduling. It stated that depleted tank farm reserves and increased demand, partly due to competitors’ reduced services, may impact ice supply in the coming weeks. The dry season has created unprecedented challenges, affecting water availability and production processes. Despite efforts to mitigate these issues, TADCO admitted that the situation is largely beyond their control, highlighting the broader impact of climatic conditions on essential services in Tobago.
