Scarborough secondary school receives $34,000 from the SSS alumni.
A percentage of the funds made by the hosting of the 2024 Capture the Flag Tournament was donated to Scarborough Secondary School. $34,000 was presented to the Acting Vice Principal of Scarborough Secondary School, Ronette Reid-Guilland at a short ceremony on Tuesday October 1st. This donation will support general improvement, the creative departments and new sports uniforms. SSS Alumni president, Kevon McKenna highlighted the community spirit behind the tournament, while Reid-Guilland expressed gratitude noting the positive impact on students’ development. The committee is already planning the tournament’s tenth anniversary next year.
