Disaster Preparedness

Annually, May is regarded as a National Disaster  Prevention and Preparedness Month in Trinidad and Tobago. Director of the Tobago Emergency Management Agency Allan Stewart shared how the island should prepare for the Hurricane and Rainy seasons. Stewart said that as we move into the hurricane season, it’s important that a balance is found in terms of approaching the season, with the various sectors across the island making themselves hard targets. He noted that most times, the focus of placed on property owners protecting themselves and their families.
