Scarborough, Tobago – Watson Duke, the political leader of the Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP), says he regrets not becoming Chief Secretary. Duke made this statement during a press conference after news that Tobago had recorded its 8th murder for the year.
Duke claims that had he been Chief Secretary, he would have done more to tackle crime. He specifically mentioned his plan to create a Department of Homeland Security within the Tobago House of Assembly (THA), believing this would have led to a more effective response to the island’s criminal activity.
