The Institute of Marine Affairs (IMA) has embarked on its annual monitoring program to assess the health and condition of coral reefs surrounding Tobago. Today, the team conducted a detailed survey of the eastern side of the Buccoo Reef. We observed that the water temperatures remain exceptionally warm for this season, a concerning phenomenon that could have significant impacts on marine life.
