Chief Secretary travels to Brazil

Chief Secretary Farley Augustine travels to Brazil for IFIP summit.

Chief Secretary Farley Augustine has travelled to São Paulo, Brazil, at the invitation of the Brazilian Parliament, to attend the International Forum of Inclusion Practitioners (IFIP) Summit, which will be held from October 24 to 25, 2024. According to a media release issued by the Office of the Chief Secretary, the FIP Summit aims to provide a platform for regional and global practitioners to unite their voices ahead of the G20 Ministerial Meeting and UNESCO Global Education Meeting (GEM) on November 1st and 2nd, 2024. The Chief Secretary is accompanied by Diane Baker-Henry, Administrator of the Division of Education, Research and Technology, and Natasha Second, the Division’s Technical Advisor. The THA contingent is scheduled to return to Trinidad and Tobago on 27 October 2024. In his absence, Deputy Chief Secretary Dr. Faith B. Yisrael will represent the Chief Secretary.
