Scarborough, Tobago – October 15, 2024 – The Tobago Business Chamber is calling on the Police Service Commission (PSC) to evaluate the effectiveness of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS). In a video message, Chairman Martin George emphasized that crime remains a significant concern for citizens, and little action has been taken to hold the TTPS accountable. He explained that the Police Service Commission is the body responsible for monitoring the TTPS’s performance. George’s call highlights the private sector’s demand for greater police accountability to restore public safety and confidence on the island.
