Building out MARIN Tobago project

I.M.A. collaborates with Tobago marine stakeholders towards mapping out a plan to build resilience and restore coral reefs and seagrass beds.

Scarborough, Tobago – Until the climate stabilizes, the marine environment will continue to be plagued by challenges. In response, the Institute of Marine Affairs (IMA) is actively working on building out the MARIN Tobago Project. This initiative aims to develop crucial resilience strategies for the island’s vital coral reefs and seagrass beds. The project underscores a proactive approach to marine conservation and the protection of Tobago’s essential coastal ecosystems from the impacts of climate change.
