The Ministry of Education via a press release shared an update on the 1000 dollar School Supplies and Book Grant which supports financially disadvantaged students at the primary and secondary school levels. The Ministry informed the public that successful applicants will receive these grants starting from August 5th via direct deposit to their bank accounts.
They will be notified via an email or a telephone call when these grants are sent to their respective banks. For those who will be receiving these grants through cheques, distribution will begin on August 12th 2024. They will be contacted through email or a telephone call. The collection venue, requirements to encash cheques and where they can be encashed will be shared. The Ministry of Education advises applicants to look for any further updates via their social media pages.
