Tobago’s fiscal roadmap for the upcoming year is officially on the table following the presentation of a record $4.12 billion budget request for fiscal year 2027 by the Secretary of Finance, Trade and the Economy, Petal-Ann Roberts, in the Assembly Legislature in Scarborough.
Delivered under the theme “Results-Based Governance: A Pathway to Prosperity,” the presentation marks a major shift toward measurable performance metrics, institutional accountability, and long-term economic resilience, anchored directly in the Tobago Strategic Development Plan 2025–2045 and the medium-term blueprint Pathway to Prosperity 2026–2030.
