Tobago’s agricultural and food production sector has received a major financial boost following the official launch of the TobaGrow Loan by the Agricultural Development Bank of Trinidad and Tobago (ADB).
Designed specifically to empower Tobago-based crop farmers, fisherfolk, livestock rearers, agro-processors, and agricultural micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the tailored financing facility aims to accelerate farm modernization, encourage youth entrepreneurship in agribusiness, and reduce the twin-island republic’s substantial food import bill.
