Secretretary Natisha Charles-pantin Calls On Minority To Stop Politicizing Food

Scarborough, Tobago – “Stop politicizing Food!” This was the direct call issued by Natisha Charles-Pantin, Secretary for the Division of Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment and Sustainable Development, in response to comments from the Minority Council.

Secretary Charles-Pantin explained that technocrats within her Division are diligently working to provide essential technical support for those in Tobago’s food industry. She acknowledged that while these efforts sometimes yield immediate success, at other times challenges arise. Charles-Pantin implored the Minority to refrain from undermining the dedicated work being undertaken to enhance food security and agricultural development on the island.

Her statement underscores the importance of a collaborative, non-partisan approach to a sector as vital as food production, emphasizing the need for unity in advancing Tobago’s agricultural goals.
