The Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP) have launched its Tobago campaign with the aim of regaining its true powers. Political Leader Watson Duke kicked off the election campaign with the first in a series of public broadcasts under the theme “Tobago Must Win: Ah We Haffuh Win.” Duke discussed the history of Tobago’s union with Trinidad and how he believes it continues to hinder the island’s development. His comments signal a strong push for greater autonomy and a different political direction for Tobago.
