TTUTA Tobago Frustrated

It is not the first time some schools were not prepared for the reopening of the new school year. Tobago Officer for T&TUTA, Braedon Roberts said he is frustrated. Roberts acknowledged the financial constraints faced by the THA, however he expected better.

He urged the Division to be more transparent about the challenges they are facing, rather than attempting to convince the public that they have everything under control. The TTUTA Tobago Officer suggested that the THA should involve the private sector to help in areas where they lack the resources to carry out the repairs.

Among the schools encountering challenges with reopening are Parlatuvier Anglican Primary School, Plymouth Anglican Primary, Scarborough Secondary School, and Pentecostal Light and Life High School.
