October 25, 2024 – The public is being warned that traffic restrictions will be in effect for the Tobago Carnival weekend in and around Scarborough. At a press conference, Sergeant Kirk explained that because most carnival activities are centered in Scarborough, access to the town will be restricted to vehicles with passes only. The restrictions, which include diversions, are set to begin at 3 AM on Saturday, when traffic coming from the west along the Claude Noel Highway will be diverted at the Orange Hill traffic lights.
