The Tobago Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) has appointed Melaura Agbeko as its new Assistant Director and Operations Chief, effective January 6th. In her new role, Agbeko will oversee disaster response strategies and manage key units, including the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Logistics, ICT, and Operations. TEMA highlighted that her leadership will be crucial in improving coordination and enhancing the agency’s ability to manage emergencies while building community resilience. Director Allan Stewart praised Agbeko’s expertise in disaster management, calling her a valuable addition to TEMA’s senior management team.
