Scarborough, Tobago – On Remembrance Day, Tobago honored its veterans with a moving parade at James Park. The event brought together members of the military, police, and other services to show respect for those who bravely served the country during World War I and II.
The parade also included groups like the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, showing that the whole community came together to remember the fallen. The ceremony was a powerful sight, with sentries standing watch at the cenotaph and a combined band providing music.
Chief Secretary Farley Augustine laid the first wreath, followed by many others, as a tribute to the veterans. The event ended with the National Anthem and a strong message encouraging young people to think about serving their country.
