June 7, 2025 – Following a vicious assault on a teenage girl at a secondary school, which resulted in her being hospitalised with serious injuries, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar at a post-Cabinet briefing held yesterday, issued a firm warning against school violence, declaring that such behaviour would not be tolerated.
