Scarborough, Tobago – Secretary of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities, and Transportation, Councillor Tashia Burris, was questioned on several matters during an interview on a morning program today. One key topic discussed was the upcoming Tobago October Carnival.
Councillor Burris noted that Tobago is slowly moving toward allowing the private sector to manage the October Carnival. This strategic shift would reduce the financial and logistical burden on the Tobago House of Assembly and potentially inject new levels of innovation and investment into the festival.
