Scarborough, Tobago – March 26th, 2024 – Last evening, at approximately 9:20 pm, officers from the Guard and Emergency Branch on mobile patrol made a shocking discovery along the Claude Noel Highway, near the “Welcome to Canaan / Bon Accord” sign in Tobago. They observed a black Mazda 323 motor car completely engulfed in flames.
The grim find prompted an immediate response from law enforcement and emergency services. This incident has initiated a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the blaze and the presence of a partially burnt body found at the scene. The location, near a prominent landmark on the highway, drew significant attention and concern from the local community.
