Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – Early this morning, a fire broke out at the Amerijet warehouse located at the South Terminal of the Piarco International Airport. The incident was promptly reported to emergency authorities, who responded swiftly and brought the situation under control.
As a precautionary measure, operations were temporarily suspended but have since resumed. Earlier, the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (AATT) advised passengers to liaise directly with their respective airlines regarding possible delays in departure.
