October is shaping up to be Tobago’s safest month this year. So far, 2024 has seen a record-breaking 24 murders and numerous shooting incidents across the island, which led to a change in leadership at the Tobago Police Division in September. Reflecting on the past month, Senior Superintendent Earl Ellie stated that the police have managed to keep crime under a measure of control.
