Scarborough, Tobago – June 27, 2024 – Former Assemblyman and political commentator, Max James, asserts that Chief Secretary Farley Augustine presented his “best and last” budget on Monday (June 24, 2024). This comes as a new Secretary of Finance will be sworn in tomorrow (June 28, 2024), relinquishing the Chief Secretary from the responsibility of managing Tobago’s finances.
Mr. James further expressed immense satisfaction with the vision of the present Tobago House of Assembly (THA) administration. He conveyed that the budget was well constructed, highlighting a positive assessment of the financial plan for Tobago’s development and the transition in the Finance Secretary portfolio.
