Belle Garden, Tobago – April 13, 2024 – Tobagonians are advocating for the reformed constitution to embody equity in status between Trinidad and Tobago. The National Advisory Committee on Constitutional Reform held a public consultation at the Belle Garden Multipurpose Centre on Thursday night (April 11, 2024), continuing their efforts to gather views on what should formulate the terms of reference for constitutional reform.
This consultation highlights the strong desire among Tobagonians for a more equitable relationship within the twin-island nation, pushing for significant changes to the existing constitutional framework.
