The Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries has introduced the NOFI Current Buster Technology to aid in oil recovery efforts post the Tobago oil spill on February 7th. The NOFI Current Buster 6, a rapid containment and recovery system, operates efficiently from a single vessel. It features an inflatable boom, decanting setup, and a pump system for oil transfer on-board. Additionally, NOFI INAK systems will be utilized for a single vessel sweep tactic offshore, enhancing overall operational efficiency.
