The Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) received donations of dengue and other arbovirus kits from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The U.S. Government, via USAID, donated kits valued at 20,000 USD. These kits test for dengue, chikungunya and zika. They will CARPHA in responding to the increase of numbers in dengue cases in the region. The U.S. Ambassador Candace Bond noted that the donation of these kits will aid in protecting the health and safety of people across the Caribbean.
