Cynthia Alfred, former Senator and Deputy Chief Secretary of Tobago, was laid to rest on Saturday, June 28, 2025. The solemn funeral service took place at the Mt. St. George Methodist Church, followed by interment at the Mt. St. George Cemetery.
Alfred was widely remembered for her profound dedication to Tobago. Her contributions spanned both the highest levels of governance in Tobago and deep within community development initiatives. Her unwavering commitment to the island’s progress and its people left a lasting impact.
