Former Senator and Deputy Chief Secretary Cynthia Alfred was laid to rest on Saturday. The funeral service took place at the Mt. St. George Methodist Church, and she was interred at the Mt. St. George Cemetery. Alfred was fondly remembered for her dedication to Tobago, both in governance and at the community level.
