In a festive and heartwarming celebration, the Signal Hill Village Council, in collaboration with the Area Representative for Signal Hill/Patience Hill, Mr. Nigel Taitt, hosted a Children’s Christmas Treat. The event, held at the Signal Hill Recreation Ground, attracted hundreds of children from the villages within Taitt’s electoral district. Taitt embarked on a joyous journey through the constituency, starting at Patience Hill and making stops at Orange Hill, Union, Spring Garden, Lambeau River Road, before concluding the festivities at the Signal Hill Recreation Grounds.
Various engaging games were organized, including Giant Uno, Ludo, Tic-Tac-Toe, Ring Toss, Snake and Ladder, PS4, and Chess. A bouncy castle added an extra layer of excitement for the young attendees. The Signal Hill Village Council President, David Griffit, expressed the community’s spirit, saying, “we are having our 2nd annual fun and family day event, joined together with Mr. Taitt. We are in the process right now of toys, well not toys, some snacks for the kids, we have food initiatives and stuff like that. Is all about the kids and the community, making sure that everybody is linked together, forming a community, forming a culture of family entertainment through games and socializing“.
