Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – Former Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Chief Secretary Ancil Dennis was appointed a Senator on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024. This move came following the resignation of Senator Laurel Lezama-Lee Sing.
On the advice of Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, President of Trinidad and Tobago, Her Excellency Christine Kangaloo, officially appointed Dennis as a Government Senator. This appointment marks a significant transition for the former THA leader into the national political arena.
