Finance minister Colm Imbert says ANR Robinson INT. Airport is only US$ 2.5 million (TTD $16.9 million) over budget
Scarborough, Tobago – Finance Minister Colm Imbert has clarified that the construction of the new ANR Robinson International Airport terminal is only US2.5million(TT16.9 million) over budget. He was responding to allegations from Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar, who claimed the project had exceeded its budget by TT$462 million due to delays and that PNM financiers were profiting.
Imbert dismissed these claims, seeking to set the record straight on the project’s financial status. His comments addressed concerns about transparency and accountability, providing a definitive figure for the cost variation.
