Finance minister Colm Imbert says ANR Robinson INT. Airport is only US$ 2.5 million (TTD $16.9 million) over budget
Finance Minister Colm Imbert has clarified that the construction of the new ANR Robinson International Airport terminal is only US$2.5 million (TT$16.9 million) over budget. He was responding to allegations from Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar, who claimed the project had exceeded its budget by TT$462 million due to delays and that PNM financiers were profiting. Imbert dismissed these claims, and sought to set the record straight.
