Scarborough, Tobago – Following the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) reshuffle on the 13th of May 2024, where members of the THA Executive Council moved into new positions and divisions, Joel Sampson has taken on a new role. Formerly Assistant Secretary for the Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and Urban Development, Sampson is now the Secretary for the Division of Community Development, Youth Development and Sport.
Sampson appeared on the Good Morning Tobago Show today to share his hopes for collaborating with the Ministry of Sport and Community Development. He also outlined his future plans and vision for the Division he now leads. This new appointment signifies a fresh approach to community, youth, and sports initiatives within the THA.
