Pan Trinbago President Beverley Ramsey-Moore has lauded the move to replace the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria on the Coat of Arms with the steelpan. In a media release issued today, Ramsey-Moore stated, “The inclusion of the steel pan on the national coat of arms is a significant milestone for our nation. It embodies the resilience, creativity, and unity of our people.” She also thanked Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and Minister of Tourism, Culture, and the Arts Randall Mitchell for their support in advancing the global recognition of the steelpan.
