Speaking at the Tobago People’s Party Public Meeting on Sunday night, Chief Secretary Farley Augustine raised concerns about National Security. He said it is critical that Tobago’s agencies under the Ministry of National Security receive the resources they need. He questioned why police officers and other arms of national security are still struggling to access basic tools required to carry out their duties effectively. He said greater advocacy is needed in parliament, for improvement in national security and expressed confidence that David Thomas and Joel Sampson, Candidates for Tobago East and West, respectively, will advocate for Tobago
