Setting the record straight about Sandals

Senator Ancil Dennis was accused of spreading false information about the failed Sandals investment during his maiden contribution to the Senate. Opposition Senator Anil Roberts claimed that the original arrangement between the government and the mega-hotel chain would have placed a heavy burden on taxpayers. This came up during the debate on the national appropriation bill for fiscal 2025, which continued in the Senate.
