Scarborough, Tobago – August 28, 2024 – Minority Leader Kelvon Morris wants to know who authorized the police to remove vendors along Pigeon Point Road. Vendors were outraged last Friday when police began tearing down their stalls. Chief Secretary Farley Augustine responded, explaining that the vendors were aware of the impending move and had attempted to delay police action against them. However, Morris is not pleased with this explanation, highlighting a significant point of contention regarding the enforcement of regulations and the need for accountability in Tobago’s governance.
